Evan and his team catered a cocktail birthday party for my husband and did a fabulous job creating delicious finger foods (no utensils required!) that had everyone talking about them all evening. From the lamb sliders to the mint pea soup shooters in adorable little shot glasses (yum!), the food was tasty and filling (it served as a complete dinner for our guests) and was super cute, too. Evan and his team arrived several hours early to prepare and were nothing but professional. They worked hard to create a smooth and seamless experience for our guests (we had about 35 total) and knew exactly how to time the food so I didn't have to do anything but worry about the drinks. Lots of people asked for his card, which was a testament to the great job he did. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat -- he obviously cares a lot about his clients and is really passionate about his cooking. He'll work with you to customize a menu and will even take food allergies and preferences into account. 5 stars for sure.

Evan and his staff did a phenomenal job for our party! I usually cook, but this time, I decided to hire a Chef. It was the absolute right decision! We had close friends and family over for a "holiday cocktails and conversations" appetizer party. He worked with me to come up with a fabulous menu. It was the easiest dinner party I have ever thrown and the food was amazing! Evan was great, he made it so easy for us to enjoy our guests and create a comfortable environment. Evan is very professional, he answered all of my repetitive questions without any hesitation and was so easy and flexible when we discussed the awesome menu we all devoured! We had the exact evening that I had expected to have and the spotless kitchen at the end of the night was a huge bonus! I recommend Evan for any event!

In a mad-dash scramble to pull off a 48th birthday party for my husband while client work was at an all time high, I turned to Kitchit to find a chef who could deliver on very high expectations for an amazing party in our home for our 20+ closest friends. Not only did Evan and his team deliver, they exceeded every expectation. The food was divine, the signature cocktail almost too good (!) and the service you'd expect at your most friendly high-end restaurant. It has been well over a week since our event and we continue to get thank-you notes for the exceptional night with special call-outs for the food, chef and team. I will be calling Evan again in the future and would recommend him to anyone needing a great partner in making the most memorable of events become reality.

Chef Evan and his crew were amazing! When our guest count soared to 90 from an initial estimate of 50 -70 he took it in stride! He simply added to his staff to accommodate the higher guest count and the event went without a hitch! The food was an absolute hit with my guests raving about it for days! The lamb chops were juicy and delicious as were all the appetizers. The sliders and biryani filled up our guests nicely and the sambar shots were quite a hit! It was quite a feat to pull off - serving Indian cuisine to a majority Indian crowd but they absolutely loved it. Chef Evan and his crew were courteous and diligent. Appetizers were constantly being passed around and dishes and glasses picked up. At the end of the party my kitchen were cleaned, the rented dishes , utensils and glasses were rinsed and stacked and any leftover food were stored and kept away in the refrigerator! In fact after Chef Evan and his team left, we had a few party stragglers raid the refrigerator and devoured the leftovers. Needless to say, I would absolutely have Chef Evan cater our event again.

Chef Evan created a wonderful dinner for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. All of the guests enjoyed his easy going nature. Everything was delicious and the timing was perfect. The kitchen was spotless when Chef Even and Nicole left. It was a joy to have him in our kitchen, we would have him back again in a heartbeat.

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner prepared by Chef Evan! We chose a delectable 7-course dinner menu, "Seven Deadly Sins", and we were Not disappointed. Evan arrived on time for the event and was very organized. He got right to work and presented us with course after course of amazing, flavorful, delicious food. The presentation was top notch and I can't over emphasize how well the preparation complemented the food. Chef introduced each course with an explanation of the dish he had prepared. Our server did a terrific job of serving the food, clearing dishes and hand washing the mound of dishes a 7-course meal takes.

 

It was such a pleasure to sit and enjoy my guests. I didn't have to worry for a minute about the meal. And, at the end of the night, all of the dishes were clean. I will definitely use Chef Evan again for a future event.

We felt so lucky to have Evan as our chef for the day! Evan was arrived a little early, which was awesome, and made himself at home. He was truly at ease and a total pro. He was super friendly yet was able to multi-task so well that our food was prepared on time and beautifully.

 

Additionally, Evan was so wonderful to my kids, letting my son (7 years old) 'help' out in making some of the food, which thrilled him.

 

Evan is a master chef - our food was simply amazing and better than we've had at many 5-star restaurants. He brought live lobster and prepared it on site. He even made a gourmet 'mac n cheese' for my 5 year old's taste, which she loved.

Evan showed up 30 minutes early and was well prepared. He was able to adjust my party from a buffet to table service without a hitch.. not such an easy task.

 

The menu was well thought out and made with total care and love - it was amazing. He personally foraged for our chanterelle's and hand smoked the steak - and for dessert he drove an hour out of his way to get a specific ice cream that can only be purchased at a certain small shop because he knew how well it paired with his homemade pie. My guests all literally cleaned their plates. Three days later, they are still talking about the food and I know that one has already contacted Evan for a party of her own.
